Straddling the line between fall and winter, plenty and paucity, life and death, Halloween is a time of celebration and superstition. It is thought to have originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off roaming ghosts. Generation TKD is no different. Master Chino enjoys brief reprieves from all the hard work his kids put into their training. “All work and no play, burns out kids. There are certain expectations throughout the year, and I expect to enjoy a bit of levity around Halloween time”, quips Master Chino.
On Sunday October 30th, Master Chino wants to invite all his students and parents to help him celebrate such a festive occasion at his school. Come one, come all and enjoy the Halloween Party. Dress in your best costume and enjoy some:
- Bouncy-Jumpy House
- Cotton Candy
- Costume Contest
- Pumpkin Carving Contest
- and BOB-the-punching-bag
Please bring one bag of candy per family to share with everyone.
